I knew I was going to love this from the first three chapters. I really enjoyed the story. Several of my favourite tropes were there: it's a slow-burn enemies to lovers story, there's an arranged marriage and an alliance of convenience and all of the characters are really likeable. The relationship between Lara and Aren is so readable. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was that many of the things that go wrong in the last few chapters could have been avoided if the characters would just speak to each other. I will definitely read the next one!
