I am in awe of Suzanne Collins's plotting ability. The journey from Point A to Point B in The Hunger Games is never simple, as complications have a way of putting Katniss in new danger -- whether physical or emotional. The writing is taut and almost transparent, but Katniss's voice still comest through strong. She's a rough gem of a character, and I'm looking forward to reading more of her story.
