My issue with this book is that I went in thinking this was going to be Medusa's story and mainly her story as printed on the book. I was sadly mistaken and while I appreciate that she was made out to be a victim of petty gods and the Perseus hate was warranted. The flipping from multiple points of views was its downfall. It wasn't the story of Medusa...... she was just a minor character that got swept up in bullshit while I heard more about Athena and Perseus. I was looking for more of a Circe-esque book and that's not what i read
