This is an absolute must read for any thriller fan! I felt like this was probably one of the first psychological thrillers out there. In the day in age, the story still stood up to the times. It reminded me so much like reading Ruth Ware! The booksellers say this is gothic novel, and that is absolutely right! The setting alone in this book just gives you chills. I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending so I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5.
