Anna is just too perfect, I would have appreciated it if there was one thing she was bad at. Every character in this is very black and white, either a good or bad person, with not much subtlety. I found the Melvin thing a bit confusing, especially at the end. A good, and sweet (but not sickening) story, with interesting characters that really engaged me in the time period. I liked that the romance was subtle but there were hints of it. A good mix of YA, period mix (that wasn't regency for once) and adult fiction.
I'm so happy he didn't end up marrying the nazi
