Stupid White Men by Michael Moore
3.0
It was okay, it was good in the fact that it highlighted and educated me on the many things that frustrated me about the world, and also the frustrations i have with the US and how it impacts everyone else. In some ways it made me feel more frustrated, because many of the things he highlighted, i felt could've been easily fixed or avoided if i was President, of course I'm not a greedy arsehole so its a bit different. I felt that the book did go on a bit longer than necessary, and i did find myself bored and awaiting the end with excitement, the interest that captured me at the beginning was well away by the last quarter, I felt the book could've been shorter, and honestly it could've all easily been said and described in a 40 minute documentary or shorter book. That being said however, i don't regret reading it, and i wouldn't have regretted giving Michael my money, had I bough it new and not from a charity shop in Aberystwyth. If I see another of Michaels books in a charity shop I may buy it, but i wouldn't want t0o pend more than 2 quid on it, however his films seem good so I will give them a chance. He seems like a cool person and I would love to talk to him.
