Second read:
Still love it. Glad I re-read it with the audiobook on my re-read as it enhanced the enjoyment of the story so much ^___^
First read:
I first started reading this book in 2017 on my ereader.... the file didn't work so I had to switch to the physical book to read it. However, that was the best thing I could have done. The reading feelig is completely different. I felt that very clearly with this book.
The way this story was told was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I'm reading very very fast. I absolutely love it when a story is told in a special way. All the different forms (interviews, security logs etc.) were fastinating and fitted the situation in the story really well.
The story itself was breathtaking. It honestly was so amazing to read. I usually don't read si-fi as I don't feel that strongly about stories set in space. However, this one captured me from the first page on. It made me wonder what will happen next and surprised me with some twists and actions written in it.
I believe one of the factors why I loved this book so much were the characters too. Both main characters were very enjoyable to follow and you truly started to care for them (made me kinda shocked how much I cared for them (was so caught up in the story that I cried because of them at one point!)). The main characters felt real and even though you only got to know them through files you got tge feeling of knowing them. Both had edges and flaws whi h made them very very likable!
This was such an interesting and good read! I truly enjoyed it very much! Can't wait to start the second book!
*longingly starres at the mailbox and hopes the book arrives faster*
