For a British author, this is the most americanised book. I 'think' it's meant to be set in the UK, but the couple of references to that jarred so much as it's so American in tone, names, manner, etc. Total drivel. Ridiculous self serving dialogue coming from characters so loose you can never tell who is actually meant to be speaking. Tosh.
