I thought I was going to have to wait until I moved back to the US to get this book, but luckily a friend of mine here in Spain has family near my hometown that she went to visit during the Christmas holidays so I convinced my mom to get Home Body for me and drop it off with her so she could bring it to me! Like Kaur's other poetry collections, Home Body deals with themes of feminism and womanhood, sexual assault, depression, and community. Usually I really like her short poems for their simple, direct beauty (and my favorite of this book was a short one on page 26), so I was surprised how much I loved her longer poems in this collection.
Minor: Emotional abuse, Hate crime, Rape, and Sexual assault
