Theordore & Gabriella: A Love That Transcends Centuries- 5 Stars

Gabriella is a young artist whose paintings are of a dark nature. This may be due to the recurring nightmares she's been having concerning an unknown man. Her dark work catches the eye of billionaire art gallery owner, Theodore.

Theo becomes quite taken by Gabriella and makes his interests known very early in the book. However, her best friend Elise appears to turn against her, seeking Theo's affections. After ignoring her friend's weird behavior and warnings to stay away from Theo, they embark on a whirlwind romance. In the background, there is someone watching and eliminating anyone who stands between them and Gabriella and begins to exterminate people in her circle. Bizarre events continue to unfold around her, and she clings to Theo for support, not knowing why someone would be stalking her.

This book was AMAZING! From start to finish, I was intrigued by the characters. I will not go too much into the plot but I will say that there was a surprise twist in the story that had my mouth open catching flies. When the plot finally unfolded, I had to pause, go back and reread chapters to see where clues were dropped that went right over my head! Brilliant writing and foreshadowing, Ms. Reyes! You are a very skilled writer!

This book was excellent and for a minute, I forgot it was a paranormal book. LOL I will definitely read more from this author. If she can amaze me with this type of realism in a paranormal book, I simply cannot wait to read her Mafia series!

Be advised, this book contains very graphic violent scenes. And to be truthful, I think that's why I loved the book. It's not your typical vampire romance. Vampires are unforgiving predators, and it was nice to FINALLY see that portrayed in a story correctly. Ms. Reyes, I look forward to your work in the future!

Happy reading!
