Overall Thoughts:
⁕ This is not your typical zombie book. I love, love, love how Lloyd-Jones uses the undead to explore themes of grief and loss in a really unique way.
⁕ I wish that this was a duology instead of a standalone. I think the story would have benefited from more time with the characters and a greater deep dive into the welsh lore.
⁕ Unpopular opinion: I did not like the goat. Sure, it was cute at first, but it kept acting as a plot device to save the main characters and it got repetitive.
