- let’s stop writing “fierce” and “feisty” latina characters pls
- really wish the group discussions between the girls dealt w sex between girls + masturbation. these topics were really only faint suggestions in the book and i think it could have really added to the story and message the book was relaying.
- WHY WASN’T ADELE A BIGGER PART OF THIS STORY 😭 Amy reed missed a serious opportunity to promote inclusion w this storyline. it was great that a trans character is introduced, but she could have been written into the group without the whole “but am i ~really~ a girl storyline”. let’s have more stories of trans identities being seriously validated pls!!!
