4.5 stars!

I loved reading this so much! Everything about it felt so magical and the setting, characters, storyline, etc. really pulled me in. The plot kept me quite engaged, as I never really expected what would happen next. Though I really did like this book, I felt like it did drag on for a while, and that the whole idea of the "challenge" and this being a "historical romance" didn't make sense to me. A very well-written book, but the summary could be changed up a bit if we were to really capture what this book is about.

Edit: Also I just realized that this book has been on my TBR since 2018 so yay for me finally reading it, haha.
