It might be that I read this in one sitting, or it could just be that mass amounts of "punishment" is not my thing to begin with. 

The book started out steamy enough. From the first page I was like "Well, that escalated quickly." but it was kind of downhill from there. There's only so many times I can read about people getting paddled to raise welts before I'm just over it. In fact, by the time Alexi was telling his story, I started skimming because I just didn't care how many times he was raped and paddled for page after page. 

So yeah, won't be continuing with these.
