If you're compiling your list of Christmas novellas to read, this one needs to be on it.

While the Christmas theme isn't hugely prevalent in the plot of the book, all the usual Christmas undertones are there.  Topics such as community and family dynamics, finding love in unlikely places, not judging a book (person) by the cover, and how money can corrupt, are all found in this book.

It is fun, lively, warm, and a delightful read.  The spice is well-written, and the banter is excellent without being cringy.

Highly recommended all round!
