I found this incredibly boring. This is marketed as a thriller but really it's a character study. It starts off on such a gruesome and exciting scene and then is just boring. I wanted to see the characters actually build these relationships together and then watch them dissolve but really it was a lot of telling and not showing.
The ending was also very unsatisfactory. The only redeeming part of this book for me was the prose was lovely a lot of the time.
