Thank you to TheWtitrReads and SevenSeas for providing me with a copy of War of the Wond by Victoria Williams for part of a book tour.

We are following Max after he went deaf in a boating accident. As Max comes to terms with his newfoundness, we see how his previous actions have hurt others. Erin and Beanie,

I like how we follow Max adjusting to his deafness and new ways of communicating and how we see his struggles ans and frustration. This made me think about how I would feel in this situation

I found the book's first half more to come to terms with disability and how others treated others in the pashowoe, which can affect future relationships.  I liked Max's uncle  Sturat as he was there for Max and was a shoulder to lean.

The second we see Max stumble upon a horrifying discovery which scientists are trying to hide, Max also sees how the adults are changing after these turbines have been introduced into this isolated town

I had my heart racing at some parts of this volk ira, genuinely emotional, and ss a parent scary the bejesus out of you.

This book did not take me long to read, and I read it in one sitting as I couldn't wait to see what happened next
