Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

5.0

๐–๐Ž๐–.

Another absolutely heartbreaking masterpiece by Colleen Hoover.

Iโ€™ve learned the trick to reading a CoHo book is to go in blind.   So, I didnโ€™t really read much of the synopsis and just trusted the writing and dove head first.

This is a heartbreaking beautiful story about family, grief and forgiveness. From start to finish this book brought out a slew of emotions, one minute I was bawling my eyes out and the next I wanted to scream.   I could sympathize with all the characters, and felt like I too was being pulled in all different directions.

Colleen is a master of her craft and writes such beautiful descriptions and really makes you feel every single emotion from heartbreak to happiness and ๐˜ผ๐™‡๐™‡ the in between.  She knows how to shatter your heart and then put it back together again.

Iโ€™m intentionally not revealing too much or really giving much in terms of plot details.   I really donโ€™t want to spoil anything.   I will say that I connected with Kenna and Ledger right from the beginning and their chemistry together felt very real.    I also adored Diem, Roman and Ledgerโ€™s parents (even if we only got to see them for a very short time).

I have every confidence to say that this will be in my top picks for the year and will stay with me for quite some time after putting the book down.
