As an adult who reads very little fiction, I decided some middle grade fiction might be a good place to explore some easy reads. As an avid fan of McFly, there was something particularly tempting about The Creakers, The Musical Edition, by Tom Fletcher. I have to say, I would like to see more musical based books from this author; the idea is original and worked incredibly well!
Fantasy really isn’t my typical genre, which possibly stopped me from engaging fully with the plot/characters but overall, this was an enjoyable listen for me - the perfect choice for someone in need of a light hearted, fantasy based, children’s fiction.
