Ok, I just finished this and perhaps I should sit with it but I’m going to go ahead and review.
I went in with no expectations and was a little disappointed by the end of the story. I feel like the story really meandered, which is totally fine but the way it was written, I was under the impression it was building up to something.
The writing itself was enjoyable and I also enjoyed the characters. I just felt like the story was setting us up for something that was not delivered. Just about every possible storyline was left open ended though. But I still enjoyed reading about Mitty, Bethel, and Lena.
