Saga, Vol. 5 by Brian K. Vaughan

5.0

"Every relationship is an education. Each new person we welcome into our hearts is a chance to evolve into something radically different than we used to be. But what happens when those people disappear from our lives?
Ah, this series keeps getting better and better with each volume! I loved this one so much, so much action and romance and comedy! I love the adorable little white seal he's so cute! I also love Marko with a beard and seeing him being a badass. Hazel's narrations were once again amazing and on point. I love how her narrations are so inspirational and beautifully written. I love how this volume dives deeper into the war on Alana's planet and it dives deeper into Marko's past as a child.
when it showed the one tie he "hit" a girl when he was 7 years old and his Dad beat the shit out of him :(

"There's no graduating from this kind of education, couples just keep growing and changing until they either break up or die."

I do wish we got to see The Will more in this one because he's one of my favorites.
I loved seeing Alana and Marko finally find each other again at the end of this volume! It was such a beuatiful moment! They both wanted to kill that stupid tv head that kidnapped them and he was like: "it's not who we are" and then the prince robot dude came in and killed him lol. Also, I was so sad to see The Will's sister die when that male dragon chomped her in half. So sad. Poor The Will. That is so crazy at the end when it shows Hazel as a young kid! Omg it's going to jump so much time in the next volume!
I can't wait to see where this series goes! It sucks now that I'm all caught up and I have to wait months for the next volume, sigh.
