I really enjoy seeing Sydney adapt to normal teenage things. Her dating that Brayden guy was pretty hilarious, especially seeming they we're so much alike in the intellectual way. You never knew what they were talking about. So basically you felt like Adrian when you heard them arguing about conservative energy and whatnot.
The ending of The Golden Lily was bittersweet. It was like YES! and then NO! I just want to give Sydney and Adrian like the most gigantic hug ever! I really liked seeing all the ways Adrian found ways to be with her and even found it endearing when Jill was acting like she was in love with Sydney because I was like "Oh! Look at how my Adrian's looking at Sydney and how much he cares about her!" I love Sydney and Trey's friendship and hope it continues.
The whole Trey/Angeline/Eddie/Jill/Micah/Lee (yes I'm going back to Bloodlines even) is interesting but it's like come on. First off we got 3 guys in love with Jill and she's just like going down the line. I hope she stays single the whole next book and actually figures out what she want. I'm slowly beginning to like Jill and Eddie together so I don't want it screwed up because Eddie's a sweetheart and deserves good things. And yeah I wanted something to happen with Angeline and Eddie and now it is but I'm not sure how I feel about that anymore. I was also warming up to the idea of Trey and Angeline when I found out he liked her.
Lets just say book 3 needs to get here fast!
