Okay this book? Goddamn, this one had me needing to pause a few times to take deep breaths because it was so hot I couldn't deal. At the same time it also hit me right in the feels which I wasn't expecting but absolutely loved.

I came out to have a good time and I honestly felt so attacked! Alex's ADHD addled brain was way too relatable, I thought I was signing up for some kinky fun reading and I absolutely got that but I also got so much more, including being confronted with how my brain isn't always very nice. Listen, I might need to go find myself a dom who can quiet my head like Kai did for Alex. Because honestly? That was both hot af but also seemed to work super well so yeah.

This book is enemies-to-lovers, mistaken identity, kinky af, and heartachingly sweet.

Book one in this series (Never Have I Ever Punched My Roommate's V-Card) was great. Fairly predictable bi-awakening plot, but I loved Beck and Finn and thought the book was really well done.

This one though? This one was amazing! The trigger warnings at the beginning of the book had me a little nervous, ngl. Fortunately, my friend was able to reassure me that most of them referred to dirty talk and fantasies (which is also stated in the tws, I just like reassurances from people I trust lol) and I'm so glad I gave it a shot because I ended up loving it!

This book turned out to be ridiculously hot and so surprisingly sweet. The emotional aspect of the book, Kai constantly checking in with Alex, and everything being fully discussed and consensual made the kinky stuff that much more intimate and hot.

I can't wait for book 3 in this series, and I for sure will be checking out the author's other books.
