I had moments where Laine's daddy issues annoyed me, but I ended up liking the overall message of the book. I adored Eric and his full circle story of redemption. However, I wanted a little more buildup in the romance. I especially enjoyed the Al/Ray Anne and Justin side stories. I was sad the original characters mainly disappeared and hope they are back in a more prominent role in the next book.
