Out On a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young
5.0
You know when you love something so much it’s just so hard to really put it into words?
That’s how I feel about this book, so bear with me as I write this review. 💜
Hannah’s writing is just pure magic. 𝙊𝙪𝙩 𝙊𝙣 𝘼 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙗 was perfect in every single way.
Win and Bo are two of my favourite characters that I’ve read in a long time. I think I might have fallen in love with a fictional character. Bo is just so special.
While this book had some open door romance and steam, it was so much more than that. The journey Win and Bo go on together is just so beautifully written. I absolutely loved reading along as they slowly progressed in their relationship, both with each other and themselves.
The entire supporting cast of characters were amazing. I would be in heaven with a book just about their friendships and D&D nights!!
And that ending had me bawling like a baby. Just when I thought there couldn’t have been anything else to pull on my heart strings.
The authors note at the beginning sets the tone for this book. Hannah is honest in sharing her feelings about why she chose to write this book and her comparison to the MC Win. I literally was already hooked just from the authors note alone, so make sure you don’t skip over it!!
Ingrain this date in your mind - 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 11 - because that is the day this amazing book goes on sale and you will want to be the first to pick up a copy!!
Thank you so much Hannah for the ARC. I am beyond grateful to have been given the chance to read this book early !!
