I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would--I loved all the main characters, especially Alice ❤️

There was a sex scene that I want expecting--it was frustrating because (after dnf-ing a Kristim Hannah book due to sexual content last year) I looked up to see if there was anything like that in this book. The only thing I found was that it referenced affairs. Then about 3/4 of the way through, there was a pretty explicit scene. I was invested enough in the book that I just skipped the scene, but if I'd known, I wouldn't have picked it up. I really wish there was a rating system for books so I knew before picking one up what I was going to get.
