This is a light hearted fluffy read with a good heap of spice that dips its toes into kinky and has some insta lust and almost insta love and a good dose of grovelling man.
I think the best part of this book is Darby. A breast cancer survivor who’s sex positive and has a backbone of steel. I love her and the ladies of Townsend including Karren, Ethan’s scorned and bitter mama. I honestly want a book that’s all about these women.
Ethan is a buttoned up wants to be golden retriever with a daddy dom edge that I so wanted more of. He’s got some backwards views from growing up in a small town but he genuinely just wants to love someone and once he lets himself relax he really grows on you.
I can’t say this is a masterpiece but the themes of the story and the characters have me wanting more.
