The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James
5.0
You will have all the lights turned on and hiding under your covers by page 50.
This was the first Simone St.James book I’ve read and now I have to go back and read everything she has written because I loooooved this book. I was lucky enough to get a early realize copy and glad I didn’t wait to read it.
Viv and Carly seem to be living the same life but in different times. As Carly follows her aunts footsteps it leads her right back to Fell in 1982. The Sundown motel sits untouched by time after decades but it has horror stories written on its walls.
Gone is gone. But what if sometimes gone isn’t always gone? What if sometimes gone is still right here?
Great character build up, very descriptive. You will forget you are reading as she paints a perfect picture that plays out from the pages.
