This was certainly better than the first volume, but that is not saying much. The other Earth One volumes all contain a complete story, even if it is leading to a bigger arc. This book does not. It ends with a "to be concluded" tag and feels incomplete. And the book still suffers from the fact that it feels like the author is writing in a world that he does not truly understand.
