The Power of Hades by Eliza Raine, Rose Wilson

4.0

I actually enjoyed the heck out of this! I went in with zero expectations, and I found myself thoroughly entertained throughout the entire story. Raine does a great job showing how there are two sides to the gods and goddesses of Olympus, but for the most part they're just sociopathic beings with zero empathy because, well, they're gods. I will say that for someone who was all about Greek and Roman mythology, Persephone didn't know half of her gods and goddesses. The fact that she didn't remember Eros' name was a fucking crime. Eros and Psyche is one of the most heartbreaking stories in Greek myth. Every myth head would know this. Outside of a few places where I was like, "Really?", I liked it a lot. On to the next one!
