“I think you feel this just as much as I do. I think you came back because you missed me.” “Really?” I gripped the edge of my desk and laughed. “I missed you? After twenty years?” “Nineteen years, four months, and eleven days,” he said softly, never breaking eye contact. “And for the record, I missed you too, Dragonfly.”

This was such a quick, fun and light-hearted read! It's exactly what I wanted to get out of my reading slump. Gus was such a sweetheart, I liked how he immediately knew what he wanted and the way he flirted around with Chloe made me feel all the butterflies! Chloe was a strong, smart and independent woman and I liked how she did not budge on wanting her revenge lol! I could instantly feel the chemistry between these two since the very beginning and they were so good together! The only thing that bothered me though that I felt like the book was short and there should've been some more relationship development between Gus & Chloe because one second they "hated" each other and the next, they're all up in each other's business. But overall, the plot was unique and really engaging and I was hooked, so I finished this book in the matter of a few hours!
