The biggest thing for me was that the language was immensely annoying. I can appreciate what the author did but with the new language just being morphed english words for the most part at first it was something to adjust to then it became a nuissance.

We were told that Andra was supposes to be gifted in the STEM field but she seems less knowledgeable about the tech than Zhade was believes it is sorcery.

The dynamic between Zhade and Andra became unbearable really quickly, but I'm not entirely sure why. Just something about their interactions seemed stilted.

This book is not for me but I can see how manu readers will enjoy it
