Challenge Prompt: CFG’s “Contemporary or historical romance.” (This was contemporary.)

Book #21 of 2024: I’ve enjoyed several of this author’s books and came across this one on my Kindle purchases long ago. I’ve been making a point of reading some of the e-Books I’ve had for ages that got buried. Now that I have had it all so organized for the last couple of years, I’m finding all sorts of gems!

This was definitely a very different way to get together as a couple. I admittedly struggled with it because I don’t believe in getting married just for the sake of getting married—especially when children are also brought into it. However I could understand why the FMC did it and God can definitely make all things work for good.

I enjoyed the FMC and the MMC very much. Such upstanding and caring people. The evidence of family and unity was there in spades. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. I struggled with him allowing her to help before the fact but again, God moved.

I enjoyed all the minor characters in this book as well. I want to know where things go for Delaney and Nikki so I’ll have to find the rest of the series.
