it might sound weird but dexter meets this savage song really encapsulates the vibe here and it is fantastic.

fair warning: this book does not sugarcoat. at all. it's bloody and folks die and folks kill and folks lose limbs and folks torture other folks. it's basically a villain origin story. i loved every second of it.
