This has been in my tbr pile for ages. It appealed to me and it was on a list of books I wrote out months ago. Finally started it a few days ago and it's one of those books that you're not sure about. But you keep going because there's something about these characters that gets under your skin, that leaves you wanting to know what happens regardless. Gritty, painful, joyous and funny. Then just when you think they're ok WHAM!!! and WHAM!!! again. Definitely worth a second read. Highly recommended.
