I liked the combination of fairy tale and historic novel. There was a lot fun about it. I wasn't a big fan of Gabriel, however. He started out as an interesting character and then almost immediately stopped being interesting and was just kind of the average guy in these kind of romance novels.

I also felt like the ending was rather rushed. So the and a half from me though I do recommend it.
