3.5/5. I LOVE the bipolar rep in this book! It is spot on and I'm so thankful for that! I enjoyed this little love story between Ash and Darian, but I also didn't 100% vibe with it. To be honest, I'm not sure why I didn't. I liked the characters, even Ash. I could feel where Ash was coming from even when it hurt me to see him act so destructive. Darian, I just love. He's a sweetheart. I love how he stands up for Ash again and again and he's so not phased by his mental illness. He also doesn't define Ash by his illness, like others (cough Niall cough) seem to do. Darian is so great (and his friends) that it truly hurt me when Ash hurt him, but again, I do get it. I get those internal struggles! Overall, this was written so beautifully and it was a beautiful story. It just didn't quite capture my attention like I had hoped. 1/5 spice levels.
