Autumn Rose by Abigail Gibbs
2.0
I was looking forward to this book after reading the first book. Unfortunately I found it disappointing as it was extremely slow to start. I found that I had to force myself to read it as I kept losing interest.
I also struggled to connect with Autumn at all and found that she was very difficult to like. I also found her relationship with Fallon annoying and unbelievable at times. When Violet and Kasper from the first book turned up in this book it got worse as Autumn was extremely judgemental. Making it difficult to like Violet and Kasper, annoying as I had connected with those characters more than Autumn.
I found that how the characters were being portrayed in this book was completely different from the second book, a real shame as the heroine prophecy got me hooked. I do not think I will continue in the series. I loved the first book in the series but think I may read that as a standalone and just forget this book. I would not recommend this book.
