Sisterchicks in Gondolas by Robin Jones Gunn
3.0
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars)
Read: July 2024
Format: audiobook from Everand
Narrator: Barbara McCulloh
Challenge Prompt: EOW’s, “a book set in Italy “ for the “read anytime in 2024” option
Book #68 of 2024: I own the first four books in this series and read them a very long time ago. I remember them being fun and humorous. I didn’t feel that way about this book.
The narrator wasn’t good and there were many awkward pauses where I thought my earphones disconnected. The novel had some good moments but I didn’t feel it showcased Italy well. So much of the book was conversation. I found a lot of it to be dry and my mind wandered. I did appreciate the epilogue.
