I'll stick with the TV show. I respect the source material, but it's very episodic and not fully fleshed out. I don't really feel like I know Jennifer: what her childhood or teens were like, her motives behind her chosen career path, or who the guy she loved but couldn't have was. Most of these questions have some type of answer or hints in the show, but is that fact or fiction? As a memoir, this feels lacking.
