I look at her and wonder, is this how it feels to love someone for who they really are? Their core being, their com- pass, their resolve?

cute and funny, very heartwarming and also kind of made me cry a little bit?? it was unexpectedly cozy.
I liked it, they truly felt like real teenagers, making bad choices, not knowing how to deal with certain things–anyone can relate.

to my personal preference, it lacked hate. they didn't hate, they just disliked each other. I mean scotty had a reason to hate her but irene didn't so.. it was pretty one sided I guess lol.
it was a pretty fast paced book, more drama than I expected but it was such a heartwarming story. loved the detail about their families, how they loved and supported them with their own things.

it's a light reading, just what I wanted. nice and funny.
