03/12/22: i don’t even know how to sum up my review for this book like . . . the prose is immaculate, paul and julian’s dynamic is both twisted and intriguing, and i couldn’t decide what i wanted to happen at the end but it made sense to me what happened . am just sitting here, contemplating the gaping isolation of being too queer and too clever for the world
