This is a memoir told in graphic novel format of a child growing up during the Iran Revolution. It is a story of death, loss, joy, family and love. I appreciated how simple it was to understand the history behind what was going on since it is told by a child. Albeit, the weight and emotional trauma of the events is not lost. This was very informative and I'm looking forward to reading the second volume.
Graphic: Death, Misogyny, Sexism, and Violence
Moderate: War
