Welcome to Camp Killer by Cynthia Murphy
2.0
This was very disappointing. A fun concept but it was way too short for what it was trying to do.
I had absolutely not suspects or theories because I didn't know ANY of the characters. Like, when the big reveal happened I had to think for a second about which character that actually was.
The killer's motive was laughable... like I actually started laughing because it was just silly.
It was set in an American-style summer camp in the grounds of an old English mansion that has a dark past. That's such a cool concept yet it was just not used as well as it could have been.
The writing was very simple and everything was explained. We weren't given the chance to figure out anything for ourselves.
