I really love Edward Rutherfurd's style. This book was a beast to get all the way through, but it's chock full of English history and I love how you follow the family lines throughout the centuries. Sometimes I found myself disappointed when chapters would end right as I'd gotten attached to the characters, though. Overall, very pleased with the novel.
