overall:
not one of the worst books, i feel like it was a good ending to the series. on another note, i both liked and disliked Snape's redemption, but overall i feel like there were better ways of doing it. I feel like [a:J. K. Rowling|1077326|J.K. Rowling|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1596216614p2/1077326.jpg] wanted a redemption at the end of the series, thus she had to include that big exposition scene with Snape's memories. again, there are a lot sections of exposition and straight-up telling the trio/reader certain information. at least it was done sort of well.

liked:
- the beginning was a bit slow
- the connection that it was a doe patronus (Snape's) that
gave the trio Godric's sword

- Percy's
return to the family
. it was heartwarming and made the scene with Fred's
death
so much harder to go through. he finally
reunited with his family, and the first one who welcomed him back dies
. :(

disliked:
- the death of
Fred

- Dobby's appearance was odd and out of nowhere (obviously), but the fact that he was fine with going against his old masters when in previous books he was still against it despite being freed.
