So I have finished all the books that have been published in the United States and I wish I could get on the "Black Clover is superior bandwagon" but I just can't.

Black Clover has a severe issue with consistency. One volume you'd the most heartbreaking story about an elf and his crusade against the humans he deems responsible for a massacre and the next you'd get filler and really bad jokes.

My other problem for this series is that there is a lack of real true consequences for the Black Bulls. Oh no there is this big bad that will kill us all if we don't stop him, oh no one of our beloved characters died, thank goods there is a huge loophole that allows them to return, oh look the bad guy is gone after I got an over-powered level up on a skill I'll never use again. Rinse and repeat 5 times. It's made me really lose interest over the series and not as excited to keep going.

Personally I feel like the series either should've ended after the elves arc or needed another arc between it and the devil arc. Both are way too similar and just leaves me frustrated as Tabata seems unable to come up with more interesting storylines.
