yes i'm 12 days early for once. i win again
anyway it was alright but only alright. i think if i had no expectations i would have liked it more
also how did it take like TWO THIRDS of the book for someone to be like "if you're worried about your memory why not get some external hard drives" LIKE....?????? this is the easiest solution to one of her main problems.
what awful film will we talk about for book club for this one. it'll be christmas week too...!!

Spoiler
i really like the concept of an AI being given a body and how they would react and interact with people and conceptualize themselves and i just felt like.... the author didn't go deep enough!! it just all felt very surface level and almost like a YA book tbh. it didn't suffer the same weird episodic nature problems the first book had but i really don't like the voice it's written in. i hate the word "comfy" for anything but like, a couch or bed or big sweater.also how did it take like TWO THIRDS of the book for someone to be like "if you're worried about your memory why not get some external hard drives" LIKE....?????? this is the easiest solution to one of her main problems.
