I’m a big fan of Chloe Liese and Bergman #5 did not disappoint! I could have finished this in a day had I not been at work- it was that good. Excellent, respectful representation, as I’ve come to expect from her.
My only negative was wanting more from Gavin’s backstory. Maybe flashbacks to Fred’s support over the years, or the reader being privy to his therapy sessions. His nonprofit is mentioned once at the start, then not again for a while. Since his personality is tied to his adolescence, that should have been more prominent.
