Age of Rust: Retribution by Thaddeus Yeiser
4.0
This had an interesting concept and reminded me of the Articles Of Faith Duology by David Wragg. It has similar banter between the complex characters which adds to the atmosphere of the nature of the story. I liked the characters and was invested in the character arcs and interactions between them and want to be able to go back and re-read book one and then this one again to see what I have missed. The world was an interesting world being that it has been set in a futuristic version of the USA and Canada. Yes it is set approx. 700 years in the future some of the values and lifestyles of the characters is very Roman in nature. I also wonder is this the end of the story or is there more to come .....
